These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of services by Phoenix Thabiso Group (PTG), including all Digital Solutions, Business Services, Technical Support, and Music Distribution.
Smartphone Unlocking & Technical Services Policy
This policy is strictly enforced to comply with legal requirements and protect both PTG and our clients from illegal activities.
Proof of Ownership & Stolen Devices
- Responsibility: The client assumes full responsibility for confirming the legal ownership status of any device brought to PTG for unlocking, repair, or service.
- Stolen Property: PTG is not responsible for any stolen property brought to us. If PTG suspects a device is stolen, we reserve the right to refuse service and/or notify relevant authorities.
- Agreement: Before service commences, the client must provide a signed agreement confirming they are the legal owner of the device.
- Required Documentation: To service any device, the client must provide the following proof of identity and ownership:
- Full Name and Physical Address
- Certified Copy of ID or Passport Number
- Device Serial Number (SN) or IMEI Number
- Minors (Under 16): We do not service devices for clients under the age of 16 unless a parent or legal guardian is physically present, or PTG has been notified and permission has been granted via a phone call or text message from the parent/guardian.
Device Collection Policy
- Collection Period: Once a device has been serviced and the client notified, the client has 90 calendar days to collect the device.
- Failure to Collect: If the device is not collected within the 90-day period, PTG reserves the right to deem the device forfeited. The device will then be utilized or sold to cover the costs incurred for service, storage, and expenses.
Business Registration Services Policy
To successfully process legal business registration (CIPC, etc.), the following documentation is required:
- Certified Copy of ID: A certified copy of the Director's Identity Document (ID).
- Proof of Residence: A valid utility bill or lease agreement serving as proof of residential address.
- Information Accuracy: The client is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all provided personal and business information.
Music Distribution Services Policy
- Ownership & Royalties: PTG (via Spirithouse Vortex Records) operates solely as a distributor. We use the client's existing record label name for metadata. The client retains full ownership of their masters and publishing rights. PTG does not claim royalties beyond the agreed-upon distribution fee/split.
- Client Responsibility: The client is responsible for ensuring they possess all necessary legal rights (master and publishing) to the music submitted for distribution.
General Liability
PTG is not liable for any loss of data during technical services (backups are the client's responsibility) or for any outcomes resulting from clients providing false or incomplete information for registration services.
